We have worked with many flooring manufacturers on process improvement. Primarily around our core skill sets regarding unwinding, rewinding and mid-process control of a continuous web. Utilising closed loop digital control systems for increased line speeds, reduced scrap and higher quality end product.
Through our partnership with these businesses we have also helped to identify additional possibilities for improvement. Such as closed a loop pre-heating system with digital pyrometer measurement to eliminate variable bonding of a laminate flooring. Ultra-high speed brake motors for improved performance from tile cutting guillotines. Upgraded accumulator for better safety, increased capacity and reliable splicing. Addition of edge trim removal for improved guiding and downstream rewinding of bulk production.
